Franklin-Simpson Industrial Authority Celebrates Record 2025, Earns National Recognition in Site Selection Rankings

FRANKLIN, KY – March 6, 2026 - The Franklin-Simpson Industrial Authority (FSIA) announces that Franklin, KY tied for 9th among top micropolitans in Site Selection magazine’s 2025 Governor’s Cup rankings. 2025 was a record year for Franklin-Simpson, with more than $605 million in new investment announced and nearly 1,000 new jobs created.

Building on that momentum, FSIA also announced over $35 million in new investments in January and February 2026 that will create an additional 288 new jobs in Simpson County.

“Last year’s results prove what we already know — Franklin-Simpson is a place where businesses can thrive,” said Jim DeCesare, Executive Director of the Franklin-Simpson Industrial Authority. “These investments reflect strong partnerships, a skilled workforce, and the community’s commitment to smart growth.”
