The new Tractor Supply Distribution facility is well under
construction in the Sanders Interstate Industrial Park in Franklin,
Kentucky. (click on photo

This 850,000 square foot facility will serve the Tractor Supply
Company retail stores throughout the mid-south. The new facility is
being constructed by H&M Construction located in Jackson, Tennessee.
Tractor Supply Company considered forty communities throughout the
region prior to selecting Franklin, Kentucky. The search was conducted
by Mike Mullis, President and Michael Mullis, Vice President of J M
Mullis, Inc. J M Mullis, Inc is located in Memphis, Tennessee and is
one of the most active professional project location specialist
companies in the United States. When completed the new facility
will be the largest single structure in Simpson County and one of the
largest in south central Kentucky.

Franklin-Simpson Industrial Authority. "We appreciate the opportunity that the Kentucky Economic Development
Cabinet and the J M Mullis Company gave to Franklin in allowing us to
compete for this great project."
Brett Barnes, Economic Development
Specialist with the Kentucky Economic Development Cabinet, Larry
Hayes, Secretary of the Economic Development Cabinet, Governor Steve Beshear, and Roxann Fry and John Bradley with the Tennessee Valley
Authority were all personally involved in the project.
It is expected that the facility will be completed by September of
2011.
